Volunteer Information

Caring Friends needs volunteer assistance with the following:

1. Monthly mailings (stamps, enclosing letters, etc.) 1 - 3 hours a month
2. School visitations (communicate with nurses in 4 Gulfton schools to determine needs for family assistance)
   • Joyce Gilbreath, a retired RN and a long time friend, is now in charge of contacts with Gulfton Schools. To volunteer information contact Joyce at bjoyceg@aol.com.
3. Helpers (non professional) for Dental Hygiene Week and Vision Screening
   • Volunteers for Eye Screening in the fall at Gulfton Schools are often a help for nurses.

4. Volunteers needed to help with mail, email, and/or web design/input and updating. 1 - 4 hours a month

Volunteers are needed on monthly, quarterly and annual basis

Volunteer time commitments range from 4-6 hours a month to 2 or 3 half days a year.
