Caring Friends, Inc. has been involved in the following activities during the 2006-2007 year:

Facilitated matching grant monies to Pro Salud, a community based health initiative serving Gulfton and an underserved Hispanic population. Gave 5000 toothbrushes for Dental Hygiene Week for elementary schools in Gulfton. Many children did not own a toothbrush. Helped with Vision Screening at Cunningham Elementary and with health care supplies requested by nurses for families with chronic health issues. Volunteers helped with Vision Screening at Braeburn Elementary
